BRETT ELDREDGE SET TO GLOW ON OCTOBER 28 11 track album includes duet with Meghan Trainor on “Baby It’s Cold Outside”

NASHVILLE, TN (Sept 26.2016) – Powerhouse vocalist Brett Eldredge has already started making his Christmas list and at the very top is his debut holiday album Glow, available everywhere October 28. Recorded at Avatar Studios in New York, it’s the follow up to Brett’s 2015 release Illinois, which spawned the hits “Lose My Mind,” “Drunk On Your Love” and his current single “Wanna Be That Song” is climbing the country singles and sales charts.

“I’ve been inspired for this record from a very young age,” said Eldredge. “I dreamt of the day I could record all these classic songs that I’ve loved since I was a little kid. I recorded those classics in New York City and tried to give a tip of the hat to the ones that came before me – Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Ray Charles – by adding that swing and that soul to the best of my ability. When it came to actually recording, I wanted to live in the experience. We hung Christmas lights in the studio in the middle of May and had musicians from the best bands in the world all in the same room – from horns to strings. Everyone was so inspired to make this classic record. I think it really shows in the songs and I can’t wait for people to hear that magic we found.”

Glow track listing:
  1. Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
  2. Baby, It’s Cold Outside (ft. Meghan Trainor)
  3. I'll Be Home For Christmas
  4. The Christmas Song
  5. Glow
  6. White Christmas
  7. Winter Wonderland
  8. Merry Little Christmas
  9. Silent Night
  10. It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas
  11. First Noel
Showcasing Eldredge’s stand-out vocals on timeless Christmas standards, Glow features a special duet with the 2016 GRAMMY winner for Best New Artist, Meghan Trainor. The album also shares its name with an original track he wrote to capture that warm, holiday feeling. “I always use the word magic when it comes to Christmas, but that’s the feeling that Glow gives me when I hear it. So it just seemed like the perfect title for a Christmas album."

Eldredge has been a huge fan of Christmas from a young age and always dreamed of making his own record of holiday classics. With the help of  producers Rob Mounsey (Elton John, James Taylor, Idina Menzel, Michael BublĂ©) and Jay Newland (Etta James, Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton), his dream has finally become a reality. The album was recorded at the legendary Avatar Studios in New York which has hosted many iconic artists including Bob Dylan, Tony Bennett, Bruce Springsteen, John Lennon, Billy Joel, Iggy Pop, Madonna and David Bowie.

Recently returning from European dates, fans can catch Eldredge out the road with Keith Urban for his ripCord world tour with dates running through November.

Packers 2016/17 Season Preview - Playoffs or Superbowl?

It might be a difference of only one win, but to the Green Bay Packers, owning a 2-1 record through three games has a markedly different feel than where they were just one week ago, owning a 1-1 record.

It was about this time last week where it felt like the sky was falling in Northeast Wisconsin. They had just lost to the Minnesota Vikings -- the team that dethroned them from atop the NFC North -- again. The Packers were struggling with the basic operations of their offense. They were ranked dead last in first-down efficiency (the percentage of first down plays that go for four yards or more), and 28th in the number of plays over 10 yards or more. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers had been sacked six times in two games, and was the lowest-graded active quarterback in the NFL to date, according to Pro Football Focus. They couldn't run the ball effectively, or didn't really give it a try in general. On top of all of that, they had fellow NFC North rival Detroit -- who beat the Packers in Green Bay last year -- heading to Lambeau Field this weekend.

But fast forward to today, and the sky suddenly looks a lot friendlier to the Green and Gold faithful. That's what a 34-27 win over the Lions will do for you, especially when the score was a comical 31-10 at halftime. Rodgers threw for 205 yards and four touchdowns on the day, including two in the first half to the still-recovering Jordy Nelson (he finished the day with 101 yards on six catches). Sitting on said lead, the Packers also gave running back Eddie Lacy 17 carries, to help ice the win; Lacy finished with 103 yards on the day, including the six yard rush right at the two minute warning, allowing the Packers to end the game through the victory formation.

So what happens next for Green Bay? First and foremost, they have to find a way to limit the production of the opponent’s top receiver. Last week, Stefon Diggs of the Vikings racked up 182 yards receiving and a touchdown on nine catches. This week, Marvin Jones of the Lions actually topped those numbers, racking up 205 receiving yards and two touchdowns on six receptions.

They'll also have to continue to build on the fact that head coach Mike McCarthy went away from his focus on executing basic plays, and implemented different looks and formations than what Detroit may have studied on film. Adding variety and innovation to this offense will make it very difficult to stop, as opposed to forcing Rodgers to make improvisational plays when opponents shut down the plays they know are coming.

But more importantly, they have to carry the momentum gained from their victory over Detroit through the next six games, where they'll play six teams who all failed to make the playoffs in 2015. If they want to create some separation in the standings as part of their quest to regain the division crown, piling up the wins in this first half of the season will be imperative. If nothing else, they have to make sure they don't add any more to the loss column, considering the Vikings haven't lost a game yet this season.

Bill Cosby

Far From Finished Tour

Friday, August 29

Tickets are $45/$55/$70

One of the best-selling & most influential stars in America, his humor provides funny insight into our roles as parents, children, family members, men and women.

Charlie Chaplin. Groucho Marx. Richard Pryor.

Over the past century, few entertainers have achieved the legendary status of William H. Cosby Jr. His successes span five decades and virtually all media, remarkable accomplishments for a kid who emerged from humble beginnings in a Philly project.

In the 1960s, his stand-up act was a coast-to-coast sensation, spawning a string of hilarious, best-selling comedy albums, which went on to win eight Gold Records, five Platinum records and five Grammy Awards. His role on TV’s I Spy made him the first African-American to co-star in a dramatic series, breaking television’s racial barrier and winning three Emmy Awards. In the 1980s, he again rocked the television world with The Cosby Show, a gentle, whimsical and hugely successful series that single-handedly revived the family sitcom (and rescued NBC).

With hit movies like Uptown Saturday Night and best-selling books like Fatherhood, Bill Cosby is quite simply a national treasure with the unique ability to touch people’s hearts.
